We were visiting the area for a wedding and made a weeks holiday out of it. Clare’s home was perfect for our needs and really exceeded our expectations.
The four bedrooms were extremely comfortable, the beds gave us all a great nights sleep. The bathrooms all had great facilities with the huge walk in shower the highlight. The living space is split into a very relaxing and cosy lounge area and a well appointed kitchen/diner/lounge area. There is everything available you could wish for.
Gullane itself was lovely, with some fantastic pubs/restaurants etc. and lovely walk to the beach. Surrounding areas were also lovely to explore. Very glad to have visited the area and is firmly on the list of places to return.

My second stay at One Fairways, so I knew just what to expect. My wife and another couple were on this trip, all with high standards, and everyone was delighted. The location is very convenient with many restaurants and shops close at hand.
Gullane is a charming town, whether for golf or general travel.

I can't think of a more perfect location and place to stay for a golf vacation in East Lothian. Clare was very helpful with clear instructions, recommendations, and easy check-in and out. She had welcome snacks available for our group which was a nice touch. It's walkable to Gullane and you'll see various golfers heading out in the mornings.
The kitchen area was spacious with enough room for our group to sit around the kitchen or outside in garden and enjoy the day and chat. Coffee pods were a nice touch, as was the well appointed kitchen.
The bedrooms were all as described and couldn't have been any more perfect. Comfy beds and linens, great bathroom facilities with supplies, and the location is perfect to walk to everything in Gullane.
It was easy to find and navigate to and from with ample parking. We will be coming back and are planning an extended stay in 1 Fairways because it's perfect to launch to any of the 21 golf courses that are minutes away!

Extreme attention to detail. Coffee capsules with a coffee machine ready for us, with some cookies and chocolates and a drink which we gladly used playing some cards after dinner.
The king-size beds were equipped with the best mattresses and blankets, reminded me of best bed in any hotels. Showers were big and spacious, with exquisite shower gel (of a local trademark called Arran).
I was so delighted with this stay, and it was a really positive surprise (even though I did came with high expectations). Clare is such a good host, communicating a lot, and always replying within a couple minutes tops.
So all in all, and in each and tiny detail, everything was perfect.

This Airbnb is right in the centre of the village, ideal for all the local amenities. There is parking available for 2 cars and an electronic lock, which makes it very convenient for groups.

Clare's house is fantastic, homely, warm and in a brilliant location in the centre of Gullane, close to the beach, golf courses, and beautiful coastal walks. Having 4 double bedrooms, all with en-suite, is a bonus. There are two huge Smart tvs- great for watching the Six Nations rugby. Kitchen is well equipped. Sofas and beds are very comfortable.
There are two parking spaces in the private parking area in front of the house, but plenty street parking too if needed. The upstairs drying room is brilliant for drying wet clothes, which is exactly what we needed after a rather wet walk!
Communication with Clare is efficient and she was keen to make sure we were ok. Thoroughly recommend for a holiday in this beautiful part of Scotland.

From the moment I booked, the care and attention to detail was awesome. The house is perfect in every regard, with ample parking and in a fabulous location. We played golf, walked on several beaches, enjoyed fish and chips, shopped in the lovely boutique shops, ate out, and all within walking distance! A great place for family to be together, with lots of space due to the three floors. The beds are super cosy and big, and the house warm throughout. It was so comfy, we slept in and nearly missed our tee off time…..but the location in the heart of an array of golf courses meant we still made it! Loved the fire, the TVs, the selection of books, games and fabulously kitted kitchen. Attention to detail in the ‘big bottles’ of Arran toiletries, the supplied coffee and tea; welcome treats and milk in the fridge, make this the perfect getaway! Everything has been carefully considered. The laundry room on the top floor and the store for golf bags and trolley, makes this a perfect family, sports, walking staycation home. I would choose to stay here above a hotel. The golf features throughout and local art effects, added that something special! Thank you for a great week, we will definitely be back and recommend to others.

The house was fantastic, perfect location to walk to the beach and also look at some of the little shops and restaurants on the Main Street of Gullane, we also had a trip to Edinburgh Zoo which was only 45 minutes away in the car.
Parking was really easy with the allocated spaces off road. Check in was straight forward as Clare was really attentive and gave us all the information we needed and stopped by to welcome us.
The house is fantastic, 4 good sized rooms with en-suites and nice powerful showers. It felt like we were in a hotel not a house.
Clare also left a lovely welcome hamper which was well appreciated.

What an absolutely fantastic property with a wonderful host.
The house was immaculate and exactly as pictured. Everything felt fresh, clean and well thought out with everything we needed for our stay and more. Clare had even left a cake and bubbles for my husband’s birthday.
The beautiful en-suites in every room were so useful and the beds and bedding were really comfortable and made for a great night sleep. Clare also set up a travel cot and high chair at our request.
The living areas were ideal for our two families as the kitchen/dining area is very sociable with a cosier living room for the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including a dishwasher, which was great.
Clare was a wonderful host and so friendly. We had another place cancel on us last minute and had to make arrangements very quickly but Clare made it so easy. She communicated with us very promptly, answered every question and got in touch to check we had everything. She also met us at the property to show us around when we arrived which was fantastic.
Gullane is beautiful itself and only a short distance from Edinburgh. All in all a fantastic trip, thank you!

Wow. What a place to stay. Taking away the 2 minute walk to Gullane Clubhouse, the house is immaculate. Idea for 4 - 8 people, the size is perfect for that amount of people. Not too squashed, not too large - ideal. Clare has thought of everything, even down to non-UK adapters and extra USB charging cables. Everything in the house is brand new and top of the range spec. We stayed for 3 nights and really struggled to find any faults. Would definitely stay there again.

This house is amazing! Luxury hotel quality. It's even better than the photos because you can smell the fabulous 'After the Rain' diffusers throughout, as well as use the toiletries and feel the thick, soft fluffy towels.
Clare has thought of everything her guests could need - even down to phone chargers and sandwich bags.
We came for a few days' break - 4 adults and 4 kids aged 6-12. The kid's were flabbergasted by the 65 inch TV (we measured it:)) as well as the 6 others. They also wanted to use a different bathroom each day! Really was a luxury home from home.
Made full use of the establishments immediately across the road - Coop, ice cream parlour, chippy, Italian restaurant - every one was top notch.
Gullane is beautiful and the beach took my breath away. Pretty much a pleasant straight walk for just under 10 minutes from the house. Just recently the Sunday Times voted Gullane one of the top 5 places in Scotland to live and I can certainly see why.

One Fairways is in the perfect location for a stay in Gullane. Situated as close as anyone could want to all local amenities, it is also only a short walk from Gullane’s magnificent beach, which is often as uncrowded as it appears on the video.
We were glad of the off road parking (although parking was available on the main street too) and we loved the bright bedrooms with large beds, top quality mattresses and comfortable pillows, as well as excellent high power showers. No detail has been overlooked in this modern, tastefully decorated and fully equipped property. It was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen where every need had been anticipated and where all the equipment was new looking and spotlessly clean, as was everything in the house.
Golfers will appreciate the nearness of the courses for which East Lothian is famous, but everyone will enjoy the comfort and tasteful décor. We had one very wet day during our stay but the house was so relaxing and pleasant we passed the time enjoyably, thanks in part to the selection of books and games Clare has thoughtfully provided.
